When camp was busted in early March the NRE ran a smear campaign to discredit Goolengook protesters. One of their claims was that we left "tonnes of rubbish". What they called rubbish was all our gear, the fort itself and people's personal effects. All of it was burnt.

Goolengook has been declared a 'temporary exclusion zone' with a 25km radius around the former site of the blockade. This road closed sign is from Goolengook Rd.

NRE thug physically stops an independent media person from filming as the NRE towed protesters cars away. All people, including media have been exluded from entering Goolengook. Those who enter, if caught, are arrested.
